Call For Papers - RMEE2020 - Management Challenges Within Globalization

Special Edition In Memoriam Professor Ioan Abrudan

Conference Proceeding was submitted for coverage in Conference Proceedings Citation Index™.

2020 is a special year in the history of the Review of Management and Economic Engineering international conference as this year marks the anniversary of 10 years since its first edition. During this last decade, through its previous editions, the RMEE conference has become a tradition in the Romanian and international field of management and economic engineering. The conference aims to bring together recognized and young researchers, academics and practitioners, providing a great opportunity to discuss new concepts, practices and approaches, to exchange and share experiences and research results regarding all aspects of business management and also to enhance national and international networking and collaborations.

The 2020 edition will be the first RMEE conference edition that will be held in the absence of its founder and former chairman, who unexpectedly passed away in 2019. Therefore this year the conference will have a special edition held in memoriam of professor Ioan Abrudan.

The proposed theme for the 2020 edition is “Management challenges within globalization”. The RMEE conference aims at exploring the challenges faced by businesses due to the increasing globalization of the world, as the factors influencing business performance are tied both to the local economy and the global economic situation. As a result of globalization, along with the technological revolution brought by the internet, businesses operate in an increasingly complex and fast-changing environment, which raises significant challenges for their management.

This special edition seeks to attract papers that employ innovative methods, new theories and new empirical evidence that can help us better understand and manage the various and complex challenges managers face given the context of globalization. Within the scope of the conference, organizers invite contributions that may address a range of different questions and issues on topics including, but not limited to: business administration, entrepreneurship, innovation and technology, sustainable development, organizational performance.
